Privacy Policy
Updated on 04/16/2026
1. Objectives
This policy covers the personal data collected by Upskill, directly or indirectly, from all individuals who interact with the company — including, but not limited to, website visitors, job applicants, employees, clients, mentees, suppliers and other third parties. "Personal Data" means any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
2. Application
This policy applies to all of Upskill's dimensions and activities, in every geography where we operate, in compliance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law — Law No. 13,709/2018) and other applicable local legislation.
3. Introduction and definitions
We developed this policy so you understand how we collect, use, store, share, transfer, delete or otherwise process ("Process") your Personal Data, and how you can contact us about it.
- Personal Data — any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (name, e-mail, phone, job title, company, etc.).
- LGPD — the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018).
- Processing — any operation carried out with Personal Data: collection, production, receipt, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, deletion, evaluation, control, modification, communication, transfer or extraction.
- You — any natural person, visitor or user of Upskill services, or a representative of a legal entity (client and/or supplier) that accesses or interacts with Upskill.
- Controller — the natural or legal person responsible for decisions regarding the Processing of Personal Data.
- Our website — upskillplatform.com.
4. Identity and details of the controller
UPSKILL LTDA., registered under CNPJ No. 47.520.593/0001-80, headquartered in Campinas/SP, Brazil, is the controller of the Personal Data processed through this website and its contact forms.
5. Collection and processing of your personal data
5.1. LGPD compliance. We are committed to collecting and processing Personal Data in accordance with the LGPD and other applicable laws.
5.2. Lawfulness, fairness and transparency. We do not collect or process Personal Data without a legal basis — performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, consent, or Upskill's legitimate interest. Where required by applicable law, we seek your prior consent.
5.3. Data collected by the website. When you fill out the contact form or the diagnostic booking form, we collect: name, corporate e-mail, company and mobile phone number. This data is used exclusively to get back to you, understand your need and present a mentoring proposal.
5.4. Purpose and minimization. Your Personal Data is processed for specific, legitimate purposes — sales support, customer relationship management, support, communication, and compliance with legal and contractual obligations — and is not processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.
5.5. Accuracy and storage. We keep Personal Data up to date and retain it only for as long as necessary for the purposes of collection, including for legal, accounting or litigation defense purposes. Questions about our retention periods can be sent to dados@upskillplatform.com.
5.6. Use of data obtained via Google APIs (Google Calendar). Mentors who use the Upskill platform may, optionally, connect their Google Calendar account so that mentoring sessions automatically appear on their calendar. By authorizing this connection, the platform requests the OAuth scopes calendar.events (create, update and remove session events), calendar.freebusy (check the mentor's availability) and calendar.calendarlist.readonly (list sub-calendars for selection). OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used exclusively for calendar operations.
5.7. Compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. In particular, Upskill commits to: using Google data only to provide or improve user-facing features; not transferring data to third parties, except when strictly necessary to provide the service or required by law; not using Google data for targeted advertising; and not allowing humans to read this data, except with explicit consent, for security reasons, to comply with a legal obligation, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized. Mentors can disconnect their Google account at any time from the mentor dashboard or at myaccount.google.com/permissions; upon disconnecting, tokens are revoked and deleted.
5.8. Data destruction. After the applicable retention period ends, we securely destroy Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
This website is a static application, with no third-party analytics or advertising scripts currently loaded — the website's Content-Security-Policy blocks connections to unlisted domains. We use only what is essential to the contact form's operation (server-side submission, with no tracking cookies). Should this change in the future, this section will be updated to detail the categories of cookies used and the consent options available.
7. Security of your personal data
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful alteration or loss, and against unauthorized use, disclosure or access. We adopt privacy by design and privacy by default principles, and assess the impact of processing whenever the level of risk warrants additional safeguards.
8. Disclosure of your personal data
We may share your Personal Data: with entities of the Upskill group, for the purposes described in this policy; with service providers who support our operations (for example, CRM and customer-support automation tools); with authorities, courts or regulators, when reasonably necessary for the exercise or defense of rights; and, in the event of a sale or corporate reorganization, with the prospective buyer of the business or assets involved.
9. International data transfer
Should your Personal Data be transferred to recipients located outside Brazil, Upskill adopts appropriate safeguards to ensure it is processed securely and in accordance with this policy and applicable data protection legislation.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access your Personal Data and to request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data. In certain circumstances, you can also request the deletion of your Personal Data, the restriction of its processing, or object to that processing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect our practices and legal obligations. Material changes will be published on this page and, when appropriate, communicated through other channels.
12. Contact
Questions or requests about this Privacy Policy or about the processing of your Personal Data can be sent to dados@upskillplatform.com or contato@upskillplatform.com.
13. Effective date
This Privacy Policy has been in effect since May 18, 2023, and was last updated on April 16, 2026.
